KUALIS new logo 2

 

 KUALIS new log is coming soon. This time I asked my friend who is a graphic designer to design KUALIS new logo. There are some reasons to do it. One of them is that I wanted to constract the logo out of an objective view. I have had a lot of discussions with my friend about the concept, image, and actual design details. The symbol comes from an ancient Japanese character "質" which means quality.

KUALIS の新しいロゴがまだ調整段階ではあるが、そろそろ最終段階に入ってきた。今回のニューロゴとシンボルは学生時代からの友人（グラフィックデザイナー）にデザインを依頼した。
そうした理由はいくつかあるのだが、何より自分の普段の思考回路から一度外し、客観的に組み立ててみたかったというのが大きな理由である。依頼した彼とは、そのコンセプトや具体的なイメージ、デザインの詳細、調整にいたるまで、メールとスカイプのやりとりでたくさんの時間を費やしてきた。
出てきた結果だけを見ると何でも無い感じであるが、そういうものほどそこに至るまでの思考錯誤は濃いのかもしれない。フレームつくりと似ている気もする。
